ABOUT ME

Gaius Buziba is a Senior Oracle Professional (OCP 7, 8, 8i, 9i, 10g, 11g and OCM 10g) with more than 13 years of industrial experience in high end Oracle technology starting with Oracle RDBMS version 7 up to 11g. He has been involved with multi platform High Availability Solutions starting with OPS; Oracle Advanced Replication; Oracle’s Maximum Availability Architecture; as well as complex multiple node RAC 9i, 10g and 11g implementations on AIX, Linux, Solaris and HP. He has experience in deploying disaster recovery solutions with standby databases compliant to Oracle MAA and third party solutions such as Shareplex and Goldengate. He has also performed various Data Center migrations using a matrix of technologies and tools such as RMAN and Data Pump and Data Guard switches between remote locations.

Gaius Buziba is Oracle OCP 7, 8, 8i, 9i, 10g, 11g, and Oracle 10g OCM – now preparing for Oracle 11g OCM Practicum.

By education, Gaius Buziba as Graduate (Masters) level degree in Information Systems Management and has several years of experience teaching Oracle in various colleges around metro-Atlanta – mostly at Gwinnett Technical College in Lawrenceville, GA. He has also conducted numerous on-site training sessions for teams in various corporate locations in the greater Atlanta area.
